Literature Text

Hate me, I don't care
Hate me, I could care less
Hate me, why should I care?
Hate me, I'm not gonna care
Why should I stick around?
It's the disrespect that sets me off
But I still don't care if you don't like me

If you hate me, can you take me down?
You know what?
I don't care if you try to or not
With peace, I can share my sympathies for the people who needs help
Because being hateful doesn't get me anything
(Being hateful doesn't get me anywhere)

You can kick me around but I hope you know
I'll tag along and fight back
So if you hurt me so much and need me later
I'm gonna tell you that you already had your chance
But if you change right here, right now
I'll consider thinking about it
But I can't promise anything

If you don't like me, why should I stick around?
There's a train out there awaiting for your arrival
Get on the train to get away from me
Unless your here to change your ways

This piece is amazingly done! With a clear strong message. For the reality of it, it is amazing how many people out there choose to pick on or demoralize someone for their own whims. I love this poem, because it emphasizes a voice of logic and reason on how and why they don't succeed upon their actions.

As we all need respect, and hatred doesn't give it.

Keep up the awesome work! ;-)
